I'm not sure there are enough appropriate words to help people understand how AMAZING this venue is, and how GREAT the owners are!!! We had our wedding there recently & our entire bridal party and out of town family members were able to stay onsite with us for a 3-day weekend. We selected the venue because it has great indoor and outdoor spaces for all of your wedding festivities; as well as all the amenities (tables, chairs, linens, drinks, bar!!) And for the big day, Ralph & Michelle came through in a BIG way! Answered questions, answered prayers, and over-the-top customer service that honestly felt more like family. These two are passionate about making your stay and your events PERFECT for you. So accommodating! And holy cow the place is GORGEOUS! The rooms are quiet with private bathrooms, lovely decor, and comfy, CLEAN beds and towels! :) We couldn't have found a better place to have our wedding and I'm so proud and happy that this venue is in my hometown. My husband and I are so in love with this place! We had our wedding reception here in March and we were more than pleased with the venue and all that Ralph and Michelle did to make our day extra special. Chairs, tables, flatware, dishes, etc. were available for us to use. Space was also available for us to get ready at the Lodge the morning of our wedding. The grounds and Lodge were the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos.
You can tell how much thought Ralph and Michelle have truly put into the Lodge from the event spaces to the guest rooms. My husband and I have come back to the Lodge to enjoy the spa and a weekend of hiking local trails and have been nothing but impressed. You will greatly enjoy your stay or event here!.

Timber Rock Lodge was all we had hoped for as a reception venue for our daughter’s wedding! Michelle & Ralph were wonderful to work with and went above & beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. I can’t recommend this venue enough for large or small events.
There is nowhere in our area for lodging like this. It is so elegantly and comfortably furnished. This will be the only place I recommend for out of town guests.

This is an amazing place for a Wedding and/or reception! The venue was absolutely breathtaking! Ralph and Michelle Trieschmann were great and very accommodating to everything that was needed to make this special day wonderful! The price is very affordable, but the location and view seems like it should be worth a lot more. The photo opportunities are plentiful to get amazing shots with the most stunning mountain views. From the perspective of a wedding planner and coordinators we were very happy with this venue and we will recommend it to all of our engaged friends. I am looking forward to hosting our next event here in May!

My wife and I went to Timber Rock to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we had the absolute best time. Ralph went above and beyond to make our stay special! The rooms are clean, cozy and charming. We spent a couple of hours at the spa (which was incredibly relaxing).
We highly recommend staying here. You get the charm of an Airbnb with the comfort and privacy of a lodge. We will be back!

A jewel in this Tennessee wilderness wonderland.
I rarely leave reviews, however the Timber Rock Lodge definitely deserves one. We were not sure what to expect since the lodge is a recently opened accommodation, but we were more then pleasantly surprised. The room was spotless with everything we needed. The bed was so cozy I didn’t want to wake-up. The grounds have many comfortable spots to relax and enjoy the outdoors. There is hiking trails on site which we enjoyed a morning walk and hike to the top of a rocky cliff with a magnificent view. There’s three fire pits with seating and two which use gas that you can cook over, which we were not prepared to take advantage of. The third is a huge wood burning pit with benches for twenty to thirty people.
The most impressive aspect is the ability to host large events. We intend to book a family reunion in the near future, since it can easily accommodate our large family. There is ample space inside and out for everyone to be together or find some private space if needed. The owners, Ralph and Michelle made us feel very welcomed and took time from their evening to share the history of the lodge and the passion that they hold for the town and the Big South Fork recreation area. Even though we were far enough away from the town of Oneida to be removed from any commercial noise and congestion, it is just a few minutes drive to plenty of stores and restaurants.
We can’t wait to return.

I would give it 10 stars if I could :) What a wonderful place! Seriously can not say enough good about it. Beautiful lodge, the rooms were perfect. The finishes in the room are such high quality. The location was perfect for our trip, we were able to do some sight seeing and a little hiking. The owner was wonderful - he met us at the door and we visited for a while, he helped guide us to all the wonderful places to see while we were in Oneida. Our only regret is our stay was too short!
